| Kevin Yackley's prep table. Jill sits comfortably while Jacob prepares a rocket nearby. | |||||||||||||||||
| Johnathan Budd and his Dad. | |||||||||||||||||
| Jacob and his Dad with his two stage rocket. | |||||||||||||||||
| One of three high altitude flights and the highest flight of the day, this one went to a reported 12,000 feet AGL. | |||||||||||||||||
| Richard Dierking's high power rocket is on the pad. It's the multi-colored rocket just above the green flag in this photo. | |||||||||||||||||
| Sorry we didn't get the rocket in this one. But it's Richard's high power rocket on it's way to 5383 feet. | |||||||||||||||||
| Kevin Yackley's "Estes Executioner" on a D12 motor. This was a very slow ascent to only a couple hundred feet, but recovered successfully to fly later. Unfortunately it had an excessive ejection in an E9 motor during its second flight, separated at apogee and was destroyed on landing. | |||||||||||||||||
| This one is Kevin Yackley's 6 foot tall, Estes Mean Machine on an E9 motor. It had a good straight flight, but something happened at ejection and the chute did not deploy. It "core sampled" and the Chute was never located. It will fly again after repairs, if only a little shorter!. | |||||||||||||||||
| Kevin's Mean Machine after landing. ouch! | |||||||||||||||||
| If anyone has additional photos from this or other ROC or TRG Launch, please send them to kevin@temecularocket.com and I'll get them posted for you. Please include as much information about the photo as possible, such as names of people, rocket names, and event description. | |||||||||||||||||
